About Faye Pang
Throughout her career at Uber Canada and Xero, Faye Pang has been a passionate champion of DE&I in the tech industry. At Xero, she spearheaded the launch of several DE&I initiatives across North America, including diverse slate or Rooney Rule hiring, job description bias review, and rigorous tracking of DE&I data across the team. She is also an active member of three employee resource groups (ERGs) and the executive sponsor for Xero’s Indigenous ERG. Outside of work, Pang supports a roster of mentees across different tech companies focusing on female-identifying and POC mentees.Get to know Faye Pang
What are your hopes for the next generation of women in tech?
My hope is that we can continue to focus on championing and sponsoring diversity, equity and inclusion in tech. I’m optimistic that we can collectively foster companies that better reflect the wide range of talent available in Canada through teams that mirror the communities we serve.
What’s the greatest piece of advice you’ve ever received?
In fast-paced environments, you have to constantly think about how you can innovate yourself out of your own job. That's the fastest path to growth and impact.
