About Kirsten Fee

Kirsten works closely with the Manager of Administration and Diversity & Inclusion, Events & Services Coordinator and Strategic Programs Specialist to ensure efficient daily operations of DMZ and support in DMZ’s Student Entrepreneurship programs. This involves her working at the front desk with the Operations team and assisting the Talent Management Team.

Kirsten is a third-year journalism student at TMU. After she graduates, her goal is to write for a fashion magazine and eventually start one of her own. Her previous professional experiences include being the Philanthropy Chair of her sorority— raising money for the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre and the Special Olympics, and completing a co-op as an office assistant at The Town of Ajax.

Kirsten recently moved from Ajax, Ontario, to Toronto and she loves the fast-paced environment; there is always something new to do, someone new to meet, and she says nothing compares to seeing the city lights outside of her bedroom window. She is also a huge animal lover and recently took up dog walking as a side gig and a fun hobby. When Kirsten isn’t writing or gushing over a cute dog, you can find her grabbing coffee with friends or trying new foods around the city.
